The Kodigehalli police have pulled up the private school for alleged forgery and cheating.
Story so far: Narayana Olympiad School is accused of fabricating a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) letter from the department of fire and emergency services, and the Kodigehalli police have filed a case of cheating and forgery against them. The Chief Fire Officer, in his complaint, stated that the management of the school, located in AMCO Layout, forged the NOC letter with the signature of a fictitious officer in order to apply for the renewal of the license to operate.
- The forgery was brought to light based on a tip-off cross-checked by officials.
- Following this, a report was filed with the department before legal action was initiated.
Mandatory NOC: All commercial establishments are required to get clearance from the fire department and acquire a NOC. The department representatives will examine the building and provide a recommendation based on the National Building Code, taking into account the dangerous and hazardous aspects.
