Dinosaurs and departed personalities come alive in holographs at Bengaluru’s art museum.
Story so far: The Museum of Art and Photography (MAP) has resurrected renowned artist Maqbool Fida Husain in the form of a speaking three-dimensional holograph. They are also virtually displaying unique statues that appear physically real.
- MAP created the holographic display by collaborating with India’s OpEzee and Queensland’s Axiom Technologies.
- At the MAP, one can look at living dinosaurs and embark on a tour of multiple cities.
Why it matters? MAP’s new display is a testament to the innovative synergy between art and technology. Holographic technology has applications in aerospace, construction, vehicle designing, and town planning.
