The Air Force Station in Yelahanka will host the 14th edition of Aero India from February 13–17, 2023.
Story so far: The event, which is expected to draw exhibitors from all over the world, will be organized by defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), which has its headquarters in Bengaluru. More than 500 companies from more than 35 countries participated in the previous edition.
- Due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2021, the previous iteration of the biennial event was held under a hybrid model.
- The 14th edition will take place over five days and will be open to the general public as well.
Best location: Aero India 2021 was hosted in Bengaluru, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh clarified that Bengaluru was the finest location to host the event, despite rumours that it will be moved from Bengaluru to Lucknow. The majority of the aerospace-related industries are based in Bengaluru and Karnataka. According to him, this makes the city the most suitable location to host the air show.
