A new video capturing the Tabebuia flowering trees has enraptured netizens.
Story so far: Tabebuia rosea flowers are ruling over the garden city this spring. A video by photographer Raj Mohan showing an aerial view of the city decked by the neotropical pink flowers has taken Twitter by storm.
- The video captures different shades of the Tabebuia rosea. It shows a train passing past the trees and a waterbody complementing the view.
- At the beginning of 2022, pictures and reels capturing the blooming tabebuia rosea and pink trumpets went viral on social media. So did reels about Bengalureans’ excitement for the flowers.
Why it matters? The pink trees in Bengaluru are often confused with Japan’s cherry blossoms. The triad that dominates the city’s pink landscape comprises Tabebuia avellanedae, rosea, and argentea, all part of the Tabebuia family.
