☕ Panchamrutha in Rameshwaram Cafe
The Rameshwaram Cafe has added a new dish to its menu: Panchamrutha.
What’s it about? The operational head of The Rameshwaram Cafe shared that South India’s temples are known for their unique prasadams, each reflecting the preferences of their deities. Drawing a parallel, he remarked that the cafe views itself as a temple, with its customers revered as gods.
- The Panchamrutha dish, priced at ₹100 per bowl and available from 7 pm onwards, combines milk, curd, honey, sugar, and ghee in equal measure.
- The traditional mixture is enhanced with bananas, tulsi leaves, dry fruits, pachakarpuram, apples, and kalsakrai.
Authentic preparation: Emphasising authenticity, the operational head highlighted that the cafe uses only natural ingredients, ensuring each batch of Panchamrutha is freshly prepared and never stored.
🧑🏽💻 WeWork expands
WeWork India is broadening its co-working presence in the country with significant expansions in Noida and Bengaluru.
What’s it about? WeWork India announced the leasing of 1.4 lakh square feet in the prime business districts of Noida and Bengaluru to meet the growing demand for flexible workspaces. These new locations are scheduled to open in the September-October 2024 period.
- The new co-working centre in Bengaluru will offer over 1,000 desks spread across 60,000 square feet.
- Located in Sector 62, the Noida workspace will encompass approximately 79,000 square feet, providing over 1,400 desks.
Existing presence: WeWork India, headquartered in Bengaluru, already has a robust presence across major Indian cities. The company has more than 8 million square feet of assets under its portfolio, distributed across 57 locations in Chennai, New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad.
✈️ The KIA anthem
The Kempegowda International Airport now has an official anthem, composed by three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej.
What’s it about? The Kannada-English track was unveiled by the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) at the airport premises. The anthem features the voices of two-time Grammy winner Lonnie Park and Kannada singer Siddhartha Belmannu.
- The music video depicts various moments and emotions witnessed at the airport, set against the bilingual song.
- There are three parts to the video: ‘The Gift of Reunion’, ‘Until We Meet Again’, and ‘Inclusive Experiences’.
Kej’s experience: During the launch event, Ricky Kej shared his experience working on the song and a memorable moment after winning his first Grammy. He recounted receiving a congratulatory call from the legendary Lata Mangeshkar but not recognising her and asking “Who Lata?”
